Trustech Conference is one of the oldest events for trust-based technologies, held yearly in Cannes. This time around, it proved that organizations are facing multiple challenges, driven by the quickly-changing global landscape. The access to personal data and its exploitation has, therefore, become a vital topic across FinTech circles.
With around 300 exhibitors assembled from a large number of secure hardware manufacturers and sector-specific software providers, and more than 250 international speakers addressing secure payments, financial services, commerce, identification and data security, the conference showed a clear insight of how the industries are shifting their focus towards the future of general security and verification.
The keynotes mainly centered around digital identity, with speakers such as Marta Piekarska from Hyperledger emphasizing the potential of blockchain, and representatives from Visa, Mastercard, and Amazon Pay addressing new ways of connecting customers by using multiple innovative solutions.
